Hmm... THOSE are the Big Hits of 2007...?

Unlike my stance in other areas (...)
I will not pretend to be an
"all-knowing expert" of what makes the
ever ebullient music industry "pop"... (!)
But I can still come up with a TOP 10
of what are, (IMLO) in my luminous opinion,
the biggest hits of the year that is ending TONIGHT...
2007 was, in my eyes, Timbaland's year.
His "Shock Value" release was something else
and he managed to be both artist
AND producer/promoter of other artists on it!
Nelly Furtado had another revealing year
(though revealing she might be flimsy a bit
wasn't exactly a high point in her career)
and she also collaborated with Timbaland,
not-so coincidentally...
Top spot goes to RIHANNA though -
as her song expresses so "spunkily", just in its title,
what I summarily feel about a certain designated driver
that I know, a ninny by the name of ROSA... (!)
Nods go also to the likes of
Sean Kingston, who made a splash
with his ode to being -gulp- suicidal?
Took guts to do that, I guess...!
Kanye West and James Blunt
confirmed their stature too in 2007 -
West blew competitor 50Cent out of the water
(as long as it doesn't end like the
Notorious B.I.G./Tupac feud...!)
while Blunt proved that, 30-odd years ago,
life was better - with 1973
(also proving that his sophomore album
was virtually every bit as good as his
smash-hit breaking first!)

That's for the Top Ten, at least!
Those of you who are pissed off
that I omitted a personal fave
rest easy - and keep listening
to my luminous playlist - ok?

And, as if that wasn't enough,

While I'm on the subject of lookalikes, though - one of my own flesh-and-blood ones whose site used to be here now gives out this definite sign of disarray when one tries to access it: a message that reads
"This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."

The site which promised a sweet "démystification de l'acuponcture par le biais de renseignements et de photos sur cette médecine douce" must have left too many mystified indeed - and running back to the traditional quacks, methinks?
The lack of noticeable results and/or actual improvement of one's health can only result in that sad pilgrimage, hmm?

Well, maybe it's just off(line) for the holidays, though?
Right...

Hmm... There's No Christmas Manger Without Baby Jesus, True, But...

These obvious Family Guy fans
(could have been worse - instead of Seth MacFarlane,
they could have been Todd McFarlane fanboys!)
have an irreverent and all-around goofy approach
towards CNN, GOD and everything in-between
(including laughable recent multi-mediatic fads
and... Susan Crabtree!)
But really now - with flying around the globe required
a batty dude who CANNOT FLY to carry around
and so many references to the sea
(from the absurd concept of a "gingerbread house
under the sea"... to Susan Crabtree!)
there is no excuse for not having invited
an Aquaman and/or GL plush (see linked pics) or
these two batty ones instead (see pic below)
- to the "big rescue mission" here...
The final catch would have been that much more plausible
logical, probable, ah, and "cushioney" as well...
not to mention that much more enjoyable for all!
