ALL THIS TALK OF 99% VERSUS 1%...
And today, is Earth Day, is it not?
Got us thinking about some other perspective,
some other significance there could be out there
for those very same, exact percentages...
And here it is, courtesy of The History Channel...
99% of the species on the planet died out already!
WE ARE THE 1% ALRIGHT - THE 1% LEFT AFTER THE LAST GREAT EXTINCTION!
So maybe we can stop our petty bickering amongst ourselves,
cease all the silly little subdividing into classes and social groups
and, maybe -just maybe- we can TRY and d something
about trying and avoid
THE NEXT GREAT EXTINCTION...?
Hmm?
Lest it is more like the next great purge
of the good ol' planet Earth -
it gets disinfected every once in a while...?
