l.p. - luminous pondering - hmm...

 Recently (most recently; as that was... yesterday!)  on the award-winning talk show hosted by  KELLY CLARKSON (yeah - another "hmm" right there!)  this actress comes on (via zoom, skype or whatever)  and professes to have "fallen in love all over again with acting "  thanks to this new role that she nabbed... on this:  ...TOO BAD... the actual interview in which she  gushes so about it is just GONE...  It is based on a book - see?  One that is highly recommended ~ y'hear:  hmm... me, I still prefer  The Lumineers! But that's another story!  back to that actress though - EVE...  She recounts that she ALMOST QUIT ACTING  because all she was ever offered were parts of  "booby girlfriends" (I paraphrase...?)  (lest it was "bubbly GFs" - huh?)  (But no - I am pretty darn sure she spoke of boobs!)  and, still, she didn't quit... she persevered...  she made a name for herself while retaining ...

  Ever wondered why the hell they started rewarding  cheap TV without much in the way of standards of any kind  -often employing the same thespians, over and over again-  AND WHY did they ever decide to call these things  "THE GOLDEN GLOBES"  as this clearly doesn't always involve the whole damn globe  and there's no real gold to be dug up - nowhere!!!  The most prestigious award they have to give out,  truth be told, probably would be the  CAROL BURNETT (ACHIEVEMENT) AWARD  and they've given a grand total of... THREE TIMES  (including the one given away tonight: to 98 year-old  Norman Lear! Good thing they didn't wait any longer - eh?  As they could have given it to him last year: instead, they  chose to give it to ELLEN...!!! That's the video above...  The inaugural one -below- was Carol Burnett herself - duh)  Yeah, yeah - alright, alright;  they've got the CECIL B. De MILLE AWARD, too...  ...

 BLACK SUPERMAN?  You better think things through... DC!  ...UNLESS...  DC firmly embraces this  "Multiverse"  thing they seem bent on  and have two or three  SUPERMEN  flying around - all at once!  "VAL ZOD"  "KAL EL"  the CW scrawny version  and, maybe...  Sunshine Superman?  Bizarro?  Or that Calvin guy - sure!  AND, of course, ME! 

 

  So... We're hearing that Patty & Gal  didn't do so well in their redux...?  *WW84* isn't all that it  could have been/promised to be?  Maybe it is due to it  having only ONE song from 1984  in its entire soundtrack - and it isn't what it should have been: ...it is this:    WOW.  That was... underwhelming!  (In spite of the daring bits there,  for its day and prudish age;  such as the protruding ones  seen in this shot, screenshot  for your convenience  (since fickle YouTube might  take it down any second now!)   ...boobies? (Even if only side boob shots) in a MUSIC VIDEO from the Eighties?!?  And all staged in the midst of some kind of sado-maso lesbo scene...?!?  How did this get past the censors, back then?  How did it get uploaded to YT... NOW?  #ButThatIsAnotherStory No, really...  PATTY should have gone  WITH THIS SONG INSTEAD:  It tells the same basic ...

VERNAL EQUINOX  yielding a  ''WORM FULL MOON''  and a  VORTEX  that unleashes  copious amounts of  ''unprecedented magical energy''  onto the Earth --- I presume?  Really?    Not a worm like this worm here,  one hopes... a so-so classic of the genre...  All I know... is that I took three fine pictures  on this night:  this last picture truly shows something akin to a ''vortex'' there  -  to tell the truth...! Or a rift in the fabric of space, tearing up   to further facilitate that generous dispensing of  ''magical energies'' promised there...  To the neo-pagans it was, anyway!  Well, all that is uncanny, really:  just yesterday I was thinking of  that old book project of mine  that I have shelved indefinitely...  And it was ten...

WWWTF...?!?  YOU MEAN TO SAY...  This infernal, wretched thing  has been taking over our very lives,  all of our free time, all of our ability  to effectively communicate with one another  for three decades now...???  THAT'S AN ENTIRE LIFETIME - FOR SOME!!! ...yeah, yeah, yeah...  FELIZ ANIVERSARIO, INTERNET...!!!  MALVADO! 

How in blue (or... pink) blazes  is the color PINK chosen now  for a WEAR PINK day  bent on stopping  BULLYING?  Yikes - seems to me  wearing a pink t-shirt  would only be  an invitation  for MORE  BULLYING...!!!  ... which kinda, well, y'know...  defeats the original purpose here... huh?  The artist known as PINK - on top of that -  has inspired many, yes...  but to a whole lot of different things -  INCLUDING VIOLENCE!  That is the bully's favorite... ah... tool, you know?  That and taunting - lots of taunting...  Name-calling... goading into a sucker punch, usually!  Damn them bullies - damn them all!  Not smart one iota - just the basic street smarts  and those are plentiful among the inbreds, really!  But that's another sordid story... PINK has, therefore, inspired some  to START A FIGHT... ...
